Picture from dinosaurking.wikia.com
Intro
Mapusaurus(earth lizard) was a large therapod that terrorised Argentina during the early Late Cretaceous. It could take down even a
fully grown Argentinosaurus if it hunted in packs. It's a dangerous hunter!
Appearance
Mapusaurus was a close relative of Giganatosaurus and hunted the same prey: Argentinosaurus. Unlike Giganatosaurus, though, it was more of a pack hunter, and I think it must have hunted and lived in packs. It is a large predator, with a length of 10.2 metres and a
weight of 3 metric tons. This is actually the maximum statistics, so these results have come from the biggest Mapusaurus fossil.
Diet
Mapusaurus is shown in Planet Dinosaur as a pack hunter. I think it actually was, from the fact that their prey was so large, they would have to hunt in packs to take them down. Mapusaurus was also a solitary hunter, while hunting alone it could take down small to medium sized dinosaurs like duckbills and iguanadonts.
